Religious Education

INTENT

Our RE curriculum intends to: -

  • Provide a diverse experience which stimulates children’s curiosity of world religions.
  • Develop attitudes which are tolerant and respectful of all people no matter who they are
  • Develop the ability to question and articulate their own beliefs and ideas about the world
  • Provide an in depth exploration of Christianity and other principal religions.

Religious Education is an essential component of a broad and balanced curriculum. It contributes to promoting the spiritual, moral and cultural developments of pupils for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life.

The contents and approach are based on the 'Lincolnshire Agreed Syllabus of Religious Education'
